I have a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ 5.3L V8 Flex C10706

Customer Question

I have a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ 5.3L V8 Flex C10706 Rear-Wheel Drive. I just replaced the oil pump and pressure relief valve in the pan to try to fix this problem but no luck. When slowing the vehicle to a traffic light or from any kind of speed in drive
I hear a coffee pot type gurgling noise followed by 3 or 4 % of an oil pressure drop. It's not much. It goes from about 40 then gurgles to about 37 psi. I'm not picky but just wanted to C if anyone knows what this sound is and how I can fix it. While slowing
to a stop if I put the car in neutral coasting to the street light or to a stop there is no sound. I also tested coming to a stop from 3rd gear and there seems to be no sound there the two or three times I tried that. I'm guessing it has something to do with
going into four-cylinder mode.

Check if any exhaust is loose and/or any exhaust or EGR pipes, etc.
