Hi there, I am Cam. Can You tell me what series this is? 3500? 4500?
OK, I am not thinking yet that there is a broken wire but I don't want to dismiss this as the front signal light should work still. There is a fuse to supply just that side, it’s the LT TRN STOP fuse in the left dash fuse block. Can you start by checking that fuse?IF there is a fuse popped then its possible we have a short in the wiring that moves with the dump box.
Yes I am , just getting my kids up.
This system uses the Body Control Module (BCM) under the dash to control the lights directly so I am thinking that either that fuse is not getting power, one other fuse is not getting power or that Body Control Module (BCM) is bad. Again for both front and back to go out suggests it’s not the wire to the back.
I have to restart my computer, be right back.
It would or should still pop that fuse. You checked all the fuses? Given this is a computerized system, some other fuses for the BCM could be bad, they are TBC fuses in the left dash and under hood fuse block.
If the Body Control Module (BCM) failed, it would only take out the side that is bad. Attached are the schematics for your 2011 turn signals.
Also attached is the document to diagnose this issue.
