Hi there, I am Cam. Can I get your first name please? With your truck, what have you done to the throttle body? It contains the injectors and the fuel pressure regulator and with the age of your vehicle, its likely simple worn out or failing. My suggestion is to rebuild or replace your throttle body.

cam, i paid once today,on my 88 chevy the engine only has 69,000 miles would it still need a new fuel regulator and where is it?
Expert:  GM Tech (Cam) replied 1 year ago.

It would. The regulator is in the throttle body itself.
