I replaced my steering colum in my 2006 chevy Silverado 1500

I replaced my steering colum in my 2006 chevy Silverado 1500 W/T , now everything is lighting up correct it turns over and runs for about 1 to 2 seconds and quits I replaced the ignition switch with my working switch and also replaced the little gray spring switch located inside the lock cylinder and I am also using my key/lock cylinder . Were else is there to look ? I would like to add that it was running with the old colum.
