I have a salvaged engine that I installed.
I checked the gas and I am getting 55 lbs

So it looks like you have good fuel pressure.

Have you been able to check for spark?

It cranks without any unusual noise?

Did you have to re-time the engine or was it just a straight swap?

Expert:  Jared D replied 2 years ago.

If you have a good scan tool:

Use a scanner to check for RPM during cranking.

If no RPM is shown, check the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) for 460-620 ohms resistance and a sine wave output using a lab scope.

Check the CKP Dark Blue/White and Yellow/Black wires for opens or shorts.

I just wanted to see if you needed any additional information. Also, I would appreciate a positive rating if I have been of any assistance. Thanks!
