I hydroplaned my 01 Cavalier into a deep ditch and then

Customer Question

I hydroplaned my 01 Cavalier into a deep ditch and then plowed through a bank. My front drivers side wheel is bent outward and rubs the fender while in rotation. Both airbags deployed and need to be reset, and they shattered the windshield. My radiator is bent in some and seems to have taken most of the impact... First thing first, what should I do about the wheel? And second, is it safe to used airbags from a used car to replace the ones that deployed?

Most likely the lower control arm on that side was bent. That will cause the top of the wheel to go outward.

Have you looked under it to see if its bent?
