I shut the sliding door and then it would not open, I have tried using both inside and outside door handles, pulling up the door lock manually. this is the WB edition

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If the door had been operating correctly with no apparent door or striker adjustment issues and nothing foreign was closed in the door then odds are the latch has failed and will need to be replaced.

When pulling the inside and outside handles do you feel normal resistance or do they seem to move without moving anything in the door?

Does the lock feel normal?
