when did this transmission start acting up how long after rebuild ?

Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Just started shifting hard within the last 1,000 miles I drove it for awhile and it doesn't shift as hard now
Expert:  Gary replied 2 years ago.

usually when these will harsh shift there is some small debris in the transmission fluid that will usually stick the pressure control solenoid which will cause harsh shifting

the best action to take is to have the transmission fluid flushed with a transmission flush machine with cleaner once that is done see if it still does this if it does then removing the transmission side cover and replacing the pressure control solenoid in the valve body and the tcc solenoid

those things usually corrects this type of issue
