Cam, is there a separate fuse washer pump, from the wiper

Customer Question

Hello Cam, is there a separate fuse for the washer pump, from the wiper fuse? It's a 96 chevy 1500. The wipers work but I have no power to the pump.

Hello I will help you with your question,

The same fuse feeds the washer that feeds the wiper motor so if they are not working the first test is to unplug the pump and install a 12 volt testlight across the connector in place of the motor. Activate the washer and if the light comes on then replace the pump. If it does not let me know and we can diagnose the switch and circuit.
