Customer Question

I have a 1991 chevy pickup and I tightened the bolts in the steering column near the tilt because my steering wheel was sloppy. Now my tumbler won't turn to the crank position and my gear shift is stuck in park. Also when I hook the battery back up it stays in accessory regardless of where I turn the key. I have replaced the tumbler and I have been trying other remedies but nothing has worked. Please help me. This is a huge headache now.

I am sorry that you have not been helped yet. I just came online and saw your question
I need to know the model pickup and which bolts you tightened exactly.
