while the struts are whar they are how much weight can they hold and still safely drive?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
i've heard the handeling will not be very good while driving on them as they are. I suppose my alignment will be affected and the gas mileage will as well, and my tires will wear unevenly.

Hello and thanks for using Just Answer.

Struts are a safety item on your car. They serve many purposes and the main purpose is keeping the tires in contact with the road. When struts loose their ability to dampen the up and down movement of the cars springs, the vehicle tends to become more unstable than when the struts are properly functioning.

Bad struts can lead to premature tire wear, longer braking distances, instability, loose alignment etc...

They are expensive but are needed for your car to perform safely.

Hope this helps please let me know if there are any more questions you may have.
