Hi there,

Sounds like the engine has been clearanced too big on the bottom end.

Did you build the engine or buy from a shop?

bought it through LKQ it's a crate motor new in the box.

the funny thing about it is the old motor was replaced because of low oil preasure. there are two oil pump gauges in the van the OE one and an after market one. They both are with in a pound or two difference.

Sounds like you'll be making a warranty claim.

The engine company will still want a master oil pressure gauge reading.

Have you had a master gauge on the engine for a comparison test?

As long as you are using the recommended oil, I'd say they'll be giving you another motor at their expense for installation.
