Chevrolet HHR LS: I accidently crossed the jumper cables while

Customer Question

I accidently crossed the jumper cables while trying to jump my HHR. Now it won't respond at all. I used the battery post in the front as the back is full. Is there a fuse or a fusable link that I should be looking for?

This will either be a really easy fix or a really bad deal for you. Check all fuses in the underhood and instrument panel fuse blocks. Use a test light to see that they have power on them with the key on. Do you have electrical power to anything at all in the car? Did you replace the battery, since it was dead?
