Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LT: I have a 2005 Suburban. Service

Customer Question

I have a 2005 Suburban. Service brake system light is on & stability system disabled light on. Vehicle is not driveable as there are no brakes. Waiting for tow truck. It has 128,863 miles on it. Up until this afternoon there were no problems with the brakes. Pads are good & there is plenty of brake fluid. Any ideas?

What's wrong with the brakes? Does the pedal go to the floor?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Yes. I think brake line might of popped.

That would be enough to make all of those lights come on. The ABS system (which also controls the stability system) monitors the brake pressure, and if there is a leak, it knows it and will turn all of these lights/messages on. Have the brake line repaired properly, and this issue likely goes away for you.
