1999 chevy cavalier 2.2l will turn over no start gray wire to fuel pump reads as a negative

what do you mean by reading negative??? 0 volts???
it should be 12 volts for 2 seconds with key on engine off. it will read 12 volts engine cranking.
check all fuses with a test light to verify power. there is a fuel pump relay as well.

I tester says 0 to .2 volts when ignition is turned on and while cranking and tells me it is a ground, if I use a relay jumper I get 12 volts to gray wire and car will try and start while holding gas to floor but will not start ive tried testing for spark but have no one else to help with that procedure so im not sure but I don't belive I am getting spark changed crank shaft sensor yesterday
