Customer Question

My vehicle is a 2007 Silverado Classic Lt 2500HD, purchased new. There is a lot of rust on the underbody - suspension components, frame, etc. What can I do to protect against further rust - cleaning off the rust where I can and applying an underbody coating?
I have already replaced all the brake lines with stainless.

stopping rust is a tough job. the reason should be determined first to be sure it does not happen again.
the best thing to do is to have the under carriage sand blasted and then have the area undercoated with treatment.
why so much rust??
