GM: I've got a 1996 suburban 1500. The brake light and turn

Customer Question

I've got a 1996 suburban 1500. The brake light and turn signal lights don't work at all. Neither does the radio, but not sure if that is related or not.

The brake lights are wired into the turn signal switch and the turn signal switch on these is very common to short out. It's also called the multifunction switch and it needs replaced.

The radio is on a separate circuit and if the fuse for it is good, then there is not much you can do but replace it.
