Remove the door sill front trim panel and speaker cover, as follows:

  1. If removing the left side, remove the seat cushion and parking brake lever cover.
  2. Remove the sill rear trim plate.
  3. Remove the door sill front trim panel.
Expert:  Mike S. replied 2 years ago.

Is this the reason you are removing the sill because of the rain water?

Have been driving the car? If so, perhaps the rain water is splashing up from underneath because of a hole or holes in the floorboard.

Here are the instructions for removing the speakers with pictures.

The front speaker covers are integral with the door sill panel. The speakers can only be accessed by removing the sill panel.

Mike, it's 1 piece from A pillar to B pillar, no speaker, no seat cushion, just a vinyl pad set into the top of it near where it starts to curve up B pillar. I can't get the pad off to access screws I believe are underneath it. The car is filling with water when it sits, not from splash when driving.

Yeah, I don't know what else I can tell you, that is all the info I have. I'll opt out and maybe someone else can help further, sorry.
