Please Test Voltage + on the ORANGE wire at the Brake Switch, under Driver DashTest Voltage + on the WHITE wire at the Brake Switch, under Driver Dash with Pedal Down.Is the Voltage + on "both wires"?IF NOT, Test Fuses "5" & "23" on "both sides", located in the Fuse Panel

crash avoidance light on
it has always come on when the pedel goes down 2x4 holding pedel down little room to test
Don if the brake light in the back glass illuminates when the brake pedal is pushed doesn't that mean the switch is good?

Yes, that was not mentioned.......Then you need to test the Rear Harness connection into the Turn Signal Switch on the WHITE wire with Brake Pedal down
I have NO info on the "crash avoidance" if that is what it is called

I am sorry for what appears to be Bad Service, but I can only answer to the Information you provide.IF you are referring to the ORANGE wire at the Brake SwitchIF there is Voltage + on the ORANGE wire & there is NO Voltage + on the WHITE wire with Brake Pedal pushed, then REPLACE the Switch, as the Switch appears to be badORANGE wire supplies Voltage + to the WHITE wire thru Switch when Pedal is pushed
