I have a 4wd trailblazer that im replacing the rack on. Do i need to drop the crossvmember? Is the cross member load bearing? And what do i need to support if aanything?

Hello, you will have to remove the steering gear cross member. It's not load bearing, you'll want to use a couple of jack stands or a jack to lower the rack some after removing the cross member to loosen the lines.
