Hi there, I am Cam. Can I get your name please? This sounds like the key in cylinder alarm has failed. First off do you have any aftermarket devices installed?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

My Name is Ed, There are no aftermarket devices installed

ok Ed, this is likely just the key sense switch that has failed. What we need to do is teat that. IT is a small 2 wire switch on the top of the ignition cylinder housing. IT twists in on the top. If the switch is faulty then we need to replace the ignition switch assembly.
