2003 chevy monte carlo: vacuum leaks..egr..iac..intake manifold

2003 chevy monte carlo, engine idle suddenly went to and stays at 2500, no apparant vacuum leaks, intake gaskets done about 1 month ago,vacuum hose to egr was collapsed changed hose but problem remains a code of p0507 did come up. iac was new at time of intake manifold gaskets replace

Ok, although the IAC valve is relatively new, it doesnt mean it hasnt failed. You need to check for 12v on all 4 wires at the IAC valve one at a time when snap accelerating the engine. If you are, then replace the IAC valve.

If not, then check for shorts in wire that is not getting 12v when snap accelerating the engine.

If wiring is ok, then replace the PCM.

the high idle is directly related to the P0507
