Chevrolet Impala: My impala will not turn over. All my lights

My impala will not turn over. All my lights on the dash and head lights work. Is there anything I can check or due before I tow her in to the shop?

do you have a test light or a multi meter ?what happens when you turn the key will it click at all ?

No noise at all I did buy a Multimeter not sure where to start.

ok can you tell me what size engine is in this car?or the 8th digit of the VIN ?

ok do you know where your starter is located ? under the front of the car front of the engine next to the oil pan.if you can find it set you mutli meter to DC volts and check the purple wire to the starter when someone is holding the key to CRANK and see if everytime the key is to crank you have 12 volts at that purple wire.and also make sure the car will not start if jump startedgraphic
