BOBBYSS :

HelloCustomer is this a 1996 or a 2005?

Customer:

Sorry it is a 1995

BOBBYSS :

Okay. I can give you instructions on how to remove the upper control arm but if you do not have an air hammer or a press then you cannot change them yourself as they are pressed in. Would you like instructions on how to remove the arm?

Customer:

yes, i do have a hydraulic press

BOBBYSS :

Okay. You will then need to remove the arm from the vehicle. This is the smaller S10 blazer and not the Tahoe size correct?

Customer:

it is the tahoe size LS

BOBBYSS :

Okay. You need to get the vehicle in the air and remove the tire and remove the brake line mounting bolts from the arm. Then you need to separate the ball joint from the knuckle as shown.

BOBBYSS :

Once the ball joint is removed you can unbolt the upper arm from the vehicle by removing the bolts that go through the bushings.

Pay attention to the bushings as some of these vehicles have welded in bushings. If they do then the entire upper control arm should be replaced.
