Resolved Question:

1998 Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton 4x4 (K1500). Power everything electrically. Cranks, but will not fire. Fuel pump pumping. New plugs, wires, rotor cap, distributor cap, in-line filter. Put gas in throttle body and it will start sometimes. Any ideas?

Key on engine off should be 55 to 60 psi. This might just be your problem.
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
Mechanic that looked at it said the fuel pump is fine. Thank you.
Expert:  AMEDEE replied 6 years ago.
Ok.. but the injectors will not open up under 50 psi when cranking the engine over.
