how do I change the third (upper) brake light on 2002 Tahoe?

here you go follow this procedure here.the upper inside moudling to acces the plug from inside that back should pull down with your hands to get at it to unplug it.
  1. Remove the upper garnish molding at the headliner.
  2. Pull back the right and left side rear window garnish molding.
  3. Lower the rear of the headliner in order to access the electrical connector.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector (4).
  5. Attach a short piece of wire to the high mounted stoplamp connector in order to assist the guiding of the harness through the body.
  6. Remove the high mounted stoplamp screws (2).
  7. Remove the high mounted stoplamp (1) from the vehicle.

The illustration sent to me shows mounting screws on the ends of the light. On my 2002 Tahoe the mounting screws are at the bottom of the light assembly and not on the end. I cannot purchase a replacement until I know that I have the accurate instructions so I know I have the correct part. 2002 Tahoe, 4x4
