I have the 3500 chevy truck 6.5 dsl you said sounds like the injection pump is going out when i told you about the codes that showed up

Ok, you opened as a new question as a new user and since I deal with many customers,

The issue is not with the sensor but the controls tied in with the pump controls, but also the fact that the system is not working, low power and thus lower than expected turbo output so that is why it thinks the turbo is bad,

so the sensor is not actually bad will removeing the cat convertor or muffler help my perforance when i get the pump replaced

Nope, I have never seen one plugged,

this seems to be a ongoing problem with this truck I have replaced the pumpmodule three times and the pump and module 5 months ago what can i do to fix the problem whithout getting rid of my truck because i like the truckm will a duramax engine bold up to my transmission automatic

No it will not, but then why would you get a great engine and put it up to an ok transmission? Do the whole powertrain if you do this.

Make sure you install the FSD cooler remote mount kit

I have thought about putting a gas burner with a carb. and no computer but will a small block chev bold to my auto transmission

That would work, and you will only need to add the throttle sensor for the electronically controlled transmission.

the 6.5 looks almost like a gas engine to me

The basic pattern is close, but I have heard that some have different sizes so it may no, and the flex plate is not the same so if the block is the same the flex plate will need to be changed.

because the design of the 6.5 pump was a poor design.
