I have high beams but no low beams, or no front turn signals. Except the low beams turn on when I use my unlock button on my key fab, then turn off once I open the door?

I have two questions:

1. Do you agree then, with the information I've given you, that it is probably the dimmer switch?

and 2. The instructions tell me to disable the SIR system as outlined in the Chassis Electrical System? Is this done by disconnecting the battery?

Yes I agree it is the dimmer switch because the lo beams work with the key fob. That means the body control module is allowing the lights to work and it mis switch related.

Disconnecting the battery will disable the SIR.
And this is the chart that I looked at and it will confirm that answer.graphic

Thanks! this is great!

If I hit the accept answer button now - will I be able to continue to ask questions? Like if I go home tonight and try this and need further instruction?

Also - is it possible for you to tell me the part number of the dimmer switch?

Do you have cruise control?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
