2004 blazer: you remove the a/c clutch..nut

Resolved Question:

how do you remove the a/c clutch on a 2004 blazer. it doesn't have a typical nut to remove.

There are special tools required to pull the clutch assembly off the compressor and to install it back on, below is a pic of the tool and how it pulls the clutch off, these tools should be available at any auto parts store.

i have the puller that the parts store loans out, but it looks like there is some kind of keeper on the shaft with a keyway and i can't tell how to remove that keeper before i can pull it off the shaft. or does the the tool do that somehow.

There are 3 different models of compressors for this vehicle, 2 have a snap ring that needs to be removed then the puller just pulls the clutch assembly off, the other one without a snap ring just gets pulled off.
