Hello, I will do my best to help answer your General Motors Vehicle questions.

I need more information please. What exactly is the vehicle? truck van suburban. Be specific.

Then exactly what is your problem?

It sounds like your describing not being able to move it out of park is this correct?

This is a 34 ft itasca built by winnebago on an p3 chev chassis for motorhome.

It allmost takes both hands to move but it is not LOCKED up.

I have been on short trips.

After I squinted some oil on bottom of shifting lever it helped but it is right overhead so you can't see for oil leaking right down on your head.

I can feel all detents but none is locked

Thanks Bob

RV, This is little outside my experience, but I will try to help. Have you disconnected the cable at both ends and moved the shifter to see if it is stiff? Have you tried moving the cable with it disconnected at both ends. The cable should be fairly free and easy to move.

OK Sounds like you may have a cable issue. Remember I can only receive credit after you choose Accept, and we can still continue to discuss the issue.
