What model Chevy is it?

it is a 98 silverado z71 with the 350 vortex, i am in the process of fixing the electronics after a friend of mind drowned it out

OK - The p0123 is a TPS code which looks like you are already going to replace the Throttle Position Sensor - The p1345 code is because your Crank Sensor and Cam Sensor are not in sync based on engine rotation - It is set either from a false crank sensor reading, or a distributor that is not installed properly or a failure of the cam sensor inside the distributor - make sure all the harnesses are plugged in at the distributor - the first step is to replace the crank sensor (which it looks like you are replacing) - if it does not fix it, you will need to look toward a problem with the distributor - Thanks, Dave

well someone told me i might could turn the distributor and to get it in time but i dont know how to set it
Chevy Mechanic: AutoDoc, ASE Certified Technician replied 8 years ago
Not on these distributors - they get dropped on #1 piston top dead center with the rotor on #1 plug tower - spark is controlled by the PCM or an ESC (Electronic spark controller) - It is possible to put the distributor in the wrong spot, but once it is in, timing is not adjustable by turning it - Thanks, Dave.
