Resolved Question:

The front brakes have locked up on my 1992 chevy lumina van, and it is not the calipers? Any suggestions?

please make sure the slider bolts that holds on the caliper isn't sieged up and the caliper floats easily..but,the problem may be the rubber line that connects to the caliper, these will collapse on the inside sometimes, causing the to work like a check valve, not letting the fluid return to the reservoir

is there a chance tha t it could be the abs. i've checked the calipers and hoses and they don't seem to be soft. nothing is leaking, but i'm getting a lot of dirt out of the master cylinder reservoir and also flushed the abs with new oil and got a lot ofdirt out of it.

well..there is always a chance..but the lines will do this..and you cant tell about them by looking at them
