Thanks for visiting Just Answer,
There are several monitors that will need to be set. Emission, o2, etc....
Do you know what category drive cycle do you need?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
my inspection paper says " 02 Sensor not ready" and "Catalyst" not ready
Expert:  Tim West replied 7 years ago.
Thanks, XXXXX XXXXX have access to a scan tool?
For drive cycle instructions to check parimeters a scan tool is handy.
You see certain requirements need to be met before the drive cycle is complete.
One more question before I answer, what size engine is this?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
no scan tool available, and the engine size is 2.5 liter, 6 cylinders
Expert:  Tim West replied 7 years ago.
Okay, since there is no scan tool available really the best way to clear these would be first, let the engine idle till it's warm.
Drive down the highway 40-50mph for 5 minutes. Accelerate to 65+ for 5 minutes then drive in stop and go traffic for 20 minutes. In this time do not turn the car off.
