Here is the location of the crankshaft sensor. Be advised that after the replacement of this sensor, you will need access to a scan-tool to do the "Relearn Procedure"/

is there a repair guide to follow to change the sensor

  • Raise the vehicle.
  • Remove the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor harness connector.graphic
  • Remove the CKP sensor mounting bolt.

  • Remove the CKP sensor from the engine.

  • Inspect the CKP sensor O-ring for wear, cracks or leakage. Replace the O-ring if necessary.
  • Perform the CKP system variation learn procedure.
