99 chevy venture: wont start..v6..No voltage..crank position

99 chevy venture wont start. 3.4l v6 /battery tests good. No voltage to soleniod wire when key is turned to crank position. Any common problem? Ideas?

It sounds like your neutral saftey switch may be bad. Access the yellow wire going to the switch to see if it has voltage with key in crank position if it does check purple wire. If yellow wire has voltage but not purple replace switch. If neither access ignition switch and check red wire for votlage at all times and yellow wire with key in crank position. If only red wire has voltage replace ignition switch.
