Do I need to reset or do anything to the computer like programming a chip, or is it basically just unplug it, put new one in?

It's always a good idea to remove the "NEG" cable before doing any sensor replacements. This will do a system reset in itself. But, as for any special programming, no, it's plug 'n play.
