The hardest thing to do is draining the fuel tank. Make sure you get it as empty as you can, I think gas weighs about 7 pounds a gallon and any extra weight will make it difficult to balance on a floor jack. The bolts for the straps are really long so if you have an air compressor use an impact and if not once you crack them loose use a speed wrench. Be careful removing the retainer ring on the tank, if it is metal use a brass punch and a hammer so you don't cause a spark. For the complete instructions, click here. Also, I like to apply a little petroleum jelly to the o-ring, it helps sliding the lock ring back on.
