I need to know where its located, and what i need to remove to get at it

Remove or Disconnect
  1. Negative battery cable.
  2. Roll instrument panel back.
  3. Plenum tray.
  4. Electrical connector.
  5. Screws.
  6. Resistor.

Install or Connect

NOTICE: When installing resistor to the heater case, do not let the resistor coils contact each other. Improper system operation or vehicle damage could result.

  1. Resistor.
  2. Screws.


  • Screws to 1.4 Nm (12 lb in) .
  1. Electrical connector.
  2. Plenum tray.
  3. Roll instrument panel forward.
  4. Negative battery cable.
    • Check circuit operation.

to vague of answer, roll panel? whats plenun tray? its behind instrument panel? pull heater/ac controls?

its on the passenger side of the cab you need to start dropping the lower dash to access
