I have a chart but it's not clear. Here is where I would focus, in the glove box, this is the most common. On the rear wall of the cap inside, another very popular location. Look in these places first and let me know if it's there.

I found one in the glove box and can actually read it but it does not have what I am looking for. It lists about everything but what I want to replace which is the front disk calipers. It's either JB1 or JB3 for one part # or JB5, JD3, JD5 for a different part number.

J55 Heavy Duty Power B
Chevy Mechanic: Ivan, ASE Certified Master Technician replied 8 years ago
My chart says J55 is heavy duty brakes. and I can tell you that JB5 and JD5 are both the heavier application at 6400 lbs, the other JB1 and other options are 4600 lbs, I am not postive but I would think the heavier options brakes should be linked to that J55.
