how do you replace the front turn signal bulb on a 1999 chevy cavalier?

You should be able to access the socket for the bulb by removing the headlamp assembly on the side that you are working on. There are two 13mm head bolts that hold the headlamp to the body. Remove them and lift up on the headlamp. Once the headlamp is out, you should be able to look down in the front fascia and see the turn signal lamp itself. Depress the rotation lock and turn the socket counter clockwise to remove the socket from the lamp.


If you can't get to the lamp by taking the headlamp out, you may need to remove the fender liner splash shield. This is the factory procedure for replacing the lamp itself, and I don't think that will be neccessary.
