How much should it cost to replace the cooling fan assembly

This answer was rated:

How much should it cost to replace the cooling fan assembly in a 2003 Impala in NY Metro area at a Chevy dealer?
Can you break dow parts and labor (i don't expect exact amount)

The fan lists for $394 if you have heavy duty cooling

It lists for $316 if you have the standard cooling.

Labor should be 1.4 hours @ whatever the shop rate is in New York. Using $100/ hour as an example, it would be $140 labor. I would imagine the rate would be higher in New York, but this should give you an idea as to what to expect.

The shop may ask for a diagnostic charge which would be another .5 to 1.0 hrs.

Hope this is what you needed.
