1998 Chevy Monte Carlo: spark plugs..motor mounts..metal tubing

Customer Question

How do I change the rear three spark plugs on a GM 3.1L in a 1998 Chevy Monte Carlo? I understand it may involve detaching the motor mounts and rotating the engine forward a bit, but how do I do this safely and without kinking or binding any metal tubing?

well you can remove the upper mounts and pull the motor forward by hhoking a strap like a small ratchet strap to the engine lift eye and the front radiator support and pull it forward it will move easy without damage but you can just unbolt the altenator and move it out of the way and have plenty off access room
