2006 Chevy Impala Sun Visor will not stay in place.

This answer was rated:

2006 Chevy Impala: My drivers side sun visor will not stay in place. It hangs down and won't stay in place, very annoying. Is there something simple that I can do to fix this?

There only easy fix is replacement of the sunshade. the part of the sunshade that has weakened is not accessible. if you remove the sunshade and take it to a auto. upholstery shop the will be able to repair. they will have the equipment to access the inside (under the cloth) and tighten the mechanism.
