2003 chevy malibu: low coolant..The warning light only lasts..incline

Customer Question

I have a 2003 chevy malibu my light for low coolant comes on only when I leave the house in the morning. The warning light only lasts for about 30 seconds. It may come on for a secone when I'm going up an incline. I read the manual and it states that I need to add Dex-cool, it say use 50% water. when I went to the store I saw dex-cool 50/50, is this already mixed with water, and how safe is dex-cool i saw a lot of bad reviews.

Dexcool 50/50 is already premixed with water. Dexcool is very safe as long as you flush the system at the right time, whatever your vehicle manual says. It is probably just a little bit low. Dexcool is a long life anti-freeze.

Good luck,
