WelcomeCustomer if you want to permanently disable the system, get a 2,200 ohm, 2.2k ohm resistor and cut the yellow and black small wire at the ignition switch passlock sensor. The solder this resistor in the body side of the wires and perform THIS procedure.

This sounds like a reasonable solution. What exactly do you mean by the "body side" of the wires?

The wires run from the ignition switch to the body control module. You are eliminating the ignition switch sensor, so you need to put the resistor tot he wires that go to the body.

Correct. You can do all this in the car. I would go closer to the ignition cylinder.
