2006 impala check engine light on, ENGINE HOT AC OFF MESSAGE....performed this re program #08-06-04-026: Intermittent MIL/Check Engine Light On, DTC P0128 Set (Reprogram PCM) - (Apr 17, 2008)

now engine is stalling and wont stay running

Is there a security lamp flashing? It could be the security system fuel pump disable feature. If the passlock sensor reads the incorrect or has a missing key code, it disables the fuel pump. I recommend having it scanned for trouble codes first.
