i need to replace the freeze plug on my 94 chevy camaro v6,

i need to replace the freeze plug on my 94 chevy camaro v6, however i need to remove the alternator mount first. how do I remove the mount?

First disconnect the battery & remove the alternator.The bracket is bolted to the engine,3 studs with nuts & one or two bolts behind the alternator.The bolts are hidden by the alternator ,but you will see them once you get the alternator off.

I have removed the alternator and the mount is loose but can't remove the mount because of the air condition compressor. Any advice as to how to proceed?

Yes,remove the bolts from the compressor mount & just raise the compressor up enough to get the main bracket out.
