2001 chevy S10: I have a PO440 emission code..PVC valve

I have a PO440 emission code on my 2001 chevy S10. I replaced PVC valve, still comes up. Any ideas?

The P0440 code is for the evaporative emissions system(fuel vapors). The most common cause of the P0440 code is a loose or non sealing gas cap.
