2004 Impala: I remove the steering column cover..Chev..tilt..squeak

Resolved Question:

How do I remove the steering column cover on a Chev 2004 Impala with tilt wheel. I can get it to separate at the wheel slightly, but the tilt knob stops me from going farther. I have a squeak as the wheel is turned I''m trying to lubricate and stop.

The tilt lever pulls straight out (its a little difficult, but will come out)

Once thats out, the lower piece will come off. Then you have to remove the two screws to get the top piece off.
