1998 chevy blazer: with heater fan..Already replaced..relay..firewall

1998 chevy blazer with heater fan that only works on 3rd speed. Already replaced the 4 speed switch and relay outside the firewall. What next?

Sounds like it is the Blower Motor Resistor. The Blower Motor Resistor regulates the different speeds (voltage) to the Blower Motor.

It is located at the left rear of the engine compartment, on the blower box:

there is a two wire plug connected to the blower motor and a four wire plug on the right side of the box next to the relay. neither of them have screws to attach them.

yes, it looks similar to that with 4 wires, but no screws.

yes, the color of wires is correct. it looks like rivets are used to hold it in place.
